Atlas Pressed Metals Expands Professional Staff | Atlas Pressed Metals

DuBois, PA – Atlas Pressed Metals is pleased to introduce four recent hires, after extensive searches aimed to expand its sales staff and engineering staff, while also growing its management team.

Christine Goughnour of Kersey came on board this summer as Purchasing Manager. She has over 17 years of experience in supply chain with a focus in procurement. Her particular skill sets in data management, forecasting and material planning strengthen the purchasing group at Atlas. Her previous employers include both a large global corporation and a government contracted manufacturer. Goughnour holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Management with a minor in Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Goughnour and her husband, Donnie, enjoy spending time with their son, Revin (10), and daughter, Raina (7), playing sports, exploring nature, and fishing. They are all avid Pittsburgh Steelers fans.  

Zachery Padasak of Johnsonburg joins the Atlas sales team with over five years of sales and industrial production experience. Most recently within his role at Domtar Corp., a paper manufacturer located in Padasak’s hometown, he had oversight of monitoring and quality equipment, and was also was responsible for implementing lean manufacturing practices to reduce inventory while assuring customers’ orders were filled. Padasak also had responsibilities as a team leader, facilitating safety meetings and new hire orientation.

His sales experience stems from B2B sales in the utilities industry. Padasak holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and has a certification as a Human Performance Practitioner from the University of Idaho. As part of the sales training process at Atlas, Zach will be completing manufacturing training later this fall, before beginning to shadow the current sales team and being assigned a territory and/or market sector responsibilities.

Padasak and his fiancée, Kylie Reynolds, currently live in Johnsonburg with their son, David (2), and the couple is expecting twin girls in February.

Anita Nissel Anita Nissel joins Atlas as a Product Engineer, bringing more than 18 years of engineering experience in powder metal to the table. Nissel earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and holds numerous industry related certificates. Throughout her tenure in the industry, she has led teams on product launch for automotive and other industries, facilitated lean and kaizen events, developed cost reduction programs aimed at improving process efficiency, and has developed and deployed business strategies, training, procedures and quality systems. Nissel was responsible for several key program-based manufacturing programs and has management experience with corporate capital expenditure projects.

Nissel and her husband, Luke, live in DuBois with their two children, Lexi (13), and Mason (6).

Robby Pistner of St. Marys is the most recent addition to the now 18-member engineering and engineering support staff at Atlas. As a process engineer, Pistner draws on over 32 years of experience in the PM industry, having held responsibilities in die setting, production management, continuous improvement, new product development, manufacturing, data collection and analysis and more. He will be working on the day-to-day needs of manufacturing at Atlas, including product launch, production efficiency, troubleshooting, training and overall operational integration.

Pistner and his wife, Shawna, share three adult children and four grandchildren. They enjoy motorcycle riding and camping every chance they get.
